Joel Bee and Deluca Lawson-Matthew have both secured Bronze medals at the Victorian Championships held 26-28 February 2016 at Lakeside Stadium. Joel finished 3rd in the 100m in the 5th fastest ever time of 10.80 for a SKAAC athlete and Deluca also got through 3 rounds to finish 3rd in the 400m in a time of 47.87s enought to claim 6th on the all-time SKAAC ranking.
Numbers at the champs, particularly the 400m were awesome with Steve Fabris most unlucky not to break 50s in his Heat, running 50.00. Alex Rowe and Peter Bol had great hit out before the Melbourne Track Classic this coming weekend.
