SKAAC – 2016/2017 Presentation Night

Dear SKAAC Community,

On behalf of the SKAAC Committee, I cordially invite you and your family to attend The St. Kevin’s Athletics Club Presentation Night which will be held on Saturday 8^th April 2017 at the Glenferrie Hotel, 324 Burwood Road Hawthorn from 6:30pm.

There will be much to celebrate on the night, with the Under 14 Region Premiership, numerous club records broken and the results from State and National Junior and Senior Championships and the wrap-up from the first APSOC race of the 2017 season, The Jamieson, completed earlier in the day!

We also have 3 special awards to present to our 3 Rio Olympians 2 of whom will be in attendance on the night, to hear about their experiences and what the immediate future plans are for Luke & Peter. Sam will be preparing to represent Australia in the World Cross Country Championships in Uganda.

We have changed the format from previous years to allow everyone to relax, enjoy and celebrate all things SKAAC (coupled with the fact that we’ve probably outgrown the SKC Pavilion).

For those not aware, the club will bestow the following honours:

• Male & Female Club Champion
• Under 20, Male & Female Cross Country Champion
• Under 13, 14, 16, 18 Track & Field Club Champions (Male & Female)
• Outstanding Junior & Senior Performance (Male & Female)
• Best Clubperson
• Presidents Award
• Most Improved
• Tan Champion
• Fastest Marathon Award
• Region Premiership momentos for the Under 14 team

This is a great opportunity to meet others in the club and talk about season 2016/2017 and to acknowledge the athletes and their efforts during the season.
