A fantastic day for SKAAC athletes at the Victorian All Schools Road relays held at Princes Park in Carlton around a 2km/3km course.

A huge contingent of our female members representing Sacre Coeur and St Catherine’s had some very strong performances. the 4th place finish for the Sacre Coeur Under 20 team contained SKAAC members Isabelle Collins 11:50, Georgia Durham 11:43 & Ava Bennett 12:41.

Also running for Sacre Coeur in the Under 16 group was Lulu Goodman who ran 9:21 for the 2km course. Isabella McDonald (St. Catherine’s) competed in the Under 18 age group and ran 13:48 for 3km showing the benefit of recent training with Liz Mathews and Steve Fabris at Tooronga.

A highlight for the day was the team gold medal secured by Tristan Day’s Trinity Grammar team and Tristan securing the fastest time in the Under 20 Men running a slashing 9:10.

Closely following the Trinity team were SKC with the team of Matthew Hussey 9:31, Josh Collins 9:40, Thomas Scroggie 9:54; Will Lewis 9:25 taking the Silver medal.

The SKC Under 16 team of (Harry Bowen 6:49, Ryan Marcina 7:24, John Cornwell 8:24, Luca Di Conza 7:54) finished 8th and CMLAC dual SKAAC members Sam Mazzei 8:44 & Max King 7:59 ran in the Under 14 Mens age group.

A fantastic day of running by the many SKAAC athletes in the All Schools.
